Monsters Candy Bag

Hello again!  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  The temps are starting to rise here in Oklahoma so hopefully I can get some crafting done inside, were it's nice & cool.  (:  My husband & I took our daughters to see Monsters University yesterday.  My daughter Lorelai is 3 & had never been to a movie theater before.  She did extremely well!  (:  The movie was really cute & after it was over my oldest daughter Kaleigh decided she wanted a Monsters University themed birthday party.  She must be planning ahead because her birthday isn't until January.  (:  We were at home all evening & she kept bugging me insisting that we work on party favors.  Not too long ago the wonderful ladies at Jaded Blossom & Annie from SVG Cutting Files held a birthday hop for Trixie.  It was a Disney themed hop.  If you have time you should go check it out,  all of the creations were awesome!  Anywho, Annie had designed several Disney svg cuts & gave them away for FREE on the day of hop!  They were only free the day of the hop so you all may want to check out Jaded Blossom & SVG Cutting Files Galleria on FB.  They announce when they are having hops & giving away prizes!  One of the files that was free from the hop was a Mike & Sulley svg cut.  I took Mike & put him on top of Jaded Blossom's Fancy Topper Die.  I also wrapped some friendship thread around the topper.  I found the thread in the kid's craft section at Wal-Mart.  My hello sentiment comes from one of JB's new stamp sets called Picture This.  We happened to have some Monsters University gummies in our pantry so I put them into a 3x4 bag, also from JB, & put the topper on it.  Kaleigh loved it!  So I guess this will be one of the treats that her friends will receive at her party.  Hopefully these gummies will still be available in January!  (:  Here is the goody bag.  Enjoy! 

I also have some exciting news!  I am going to be a guest designer for SVG Cutting Files during the month of September & Jaded Blossom during the month of December!  I am very honored & looking forward to being a part of these 2 wonderful companies!!  (:
