 Here is what I created for this linky party!

I wanted to try a CAS card.  I'm not too sure if it's actually a CAS card, but hey, it works for me!  (:  My flag came from the Sil Store.  I used some Trendy Twine for my bows.  I used the "Happy" sentiment from the Destination Fun stamp set.  I just masked off the "Campers" portion.  The "Independence Day" is from the Celebrate Freedom stamp set.  I ended up putting my flag on a kraft card base because it kept "blending in" on a red, white, or blue background.

And now for my project....

My daughter has been a bike riding machine here lately!  Well, w/ bike riding comes scrapes & bruises!  (:  We were talking the other day & she told me that she needed a 1st aid kit to keep in the basket of her bike.  So this was the inspiration for my project!  (:  I used the Get Well sentiment from the Say It Big stamp set.  This is one of my new favorite stamp sets!!

My 1st aid kit is a Jamie Cripps file from the Sil Store.  I just love her files!!!  So many of her awesome files are on my wish list!  (:

CDD June Release Sneak Peek Day #4!!!


Are you ready to get the sneak peeks started? I am!!

Welcome to Day #4 of our June stamp release party!! Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of the four new stamp sets. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday, we will have a blog hop with prizes each day. The design team has some amazing creations to start this stamp release party.

Today we are showcasing the Say It Big stamp set.

All of the new stamps are 4x6 and Made in the USA.
Stamps will be available to order on Tuesday.

Here's the project I created:

I used the I love you! sentiment on my card.  I got my heart from the Sil Store.  I used an embossing folder on the white portion of the card.  I used some rumple ribbon from Lovebug Creations for my bow.

Now lets get to what I created!!

Can you guess what my favorite color is???  (:  The card base & cute sun came from SVG Cutting Files.  This sun is one of my most favorite SVG files!!  I love 3x3 cards!  I love to have them on hand to pack in my kiddos lunch boxes for school, suitcases for trips, etc.  I'm putting 2 of these cards into my daughter's suitcases for an upcoming trip we have planned.  (:  The sentiment is from the CDD Destination Fun stamp set.  Don't all of Tara's stamp sets rock?!?!?  I'm just love them all!!  (:

Destination Fun - Say Cheese!!

Hello all!  I want to share a card I made using the Destination Fun stamp set.  I love how versatile this set is! 

 Here is what I created!

I loved the pattern paper w/ all to cameras on it!  The Say Cheese sentiment worked perfectly for my card!  The camera & film strip border came from the Sil Store.  I added some enamel dots to the bottom of my card also.

And now for my project....

I decided to make a Project Life layout using the new Destination Fun stamp set!  My family & I traveled to the Grand Canyon & the Hoover Dam last summer for our vacation.  These stamps were PERFECT for my layout!  
I stamped the sentiments directly onto my photos.  Here are some close ups of the stamps.

My youngest daughter "read" the map for us so, needless to say, we got lost a few times.  (:


This is one of my favorite pictures of the girls on our trip.  Another one of my favorites is one of them at the Hoover Dam.  The wind was blowing when I was taking their picture & Lorelai had crazy hair!  (:  Let me share it w/ you guys just for fun.  (:



Isn't the Grand Canyon absolutely gorgeous?!?!?!?  I'm so glad we decided to visit there!  I cut the side tab from one of the brochures we brought home w/ us from the visitor center.  I can't wait to finish documenting the rest of our trip!  We had such a blast & can't wait for the next one!
